I use this on all my clothes -- including dress shirts. Sometimes if the water is too cold, you can sometimes get chunks of Ivory Soap on there. However, it comes out in the dryer. It seems like I need to wash all my clothes in warm (or hot) water for the wintertime. Give it a shot, I do not think you'll be disappointed. The laundry comes out nice and clean.
